Biography
Born in 1986 in Frankfurt (Oder), far East Germany, Christoph Büttner didn’t have a clue of his true needs for a very long time. A huge gap of artistic emptiness dominated his life between 2005 and 2015. He worked as service technician for a major telecommunication company and left his job for a bachelor degree course in media technology. During his studies he encountered animation for the first time and animated computer games after receiving his B.Eng, but there was still no sign of a true artistic mind. It got almost buried by his ambitions making a living from his profession as call center agent and that's why he exactly made his final decision. This lead him to Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, where he delved into side streams of film making. Six years and two kids later he came up for air, holding the B.F.A. Animation in his hands. Demonstrating his focus on adult animation his graduation film is also exemplary for his special interest: achieving analog styles with digital means. Living in the pretty city of Schwerin in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Northern Germany, Christoph is currently working on his own projects as animator and filmmaker.
